What do you think is the best way to export a hype document to see it locally on an iPad? Is there any way to open a wdgt on iPad?

You may want to take a look at kiosk software; some of it allows uploading documents and showing them in offline modes. Here's a starting point:

Hi, i use the Twixl Viewer for this.

You open a InDesign file, you put the html or the oam file and export it to the Twixl Viewer located at your iPad. Works fine for me.
