In Hype? Wow, that's impressive! The kaleidoscope and some of the wind puppets were created in Da Vinci, right? Otherwise, I have some questions. Nice!
Max - thank you for asking. All animation was done in Hype.
Actually the kaleidoscope was done with cropping triangles and forming a "pie" of movie clips.
The wind puppets were just a loop of png's built from video screenshots.

Yeah that's smart. Using two slightly angled nested overflow hiding rectangles to create a wedge. I did that once, but I totally forgot it was possible. That's really great. Love it!
