VR and 3D in Hype

Hallo

In my graphic novel I would like to create one chapter which is a VR space in which the user can move in 3D. I was very happy to see some threads in the forum about this topic:

Is this still possible? Is there an up to date technology for this?

Many thanks,

Daniele

Have you seen Pannellum… https://pannellum.org …it can be used to create virtual tours. The view can be changed with hotspots, but that's not like video game movement.

You can generally integrate assets from any third-party software that offers web, HTML5, or embedded export options into your Hype Scene or Symbol. However, keep in mind that some services may require an internet connection, as they rely on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) backend.

I made this webapp time ago with Hype, I used embedded (via HTML widget) files made with Pano head and full frame camera + 17mm lens and stacked with Panotour Pro ( a french company no longer active, the software is now discontinued :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: ).

There is also https://cables.gl. If you are keen to discover a lot more than you bargained for. It's free, but a learning curve involved. I haven't played with it lately, but it is on my bucket list.
