The iPhone X resolution is 2436 x 1125 px. Does anyone know, given those specs, what the viewport size in pixels is?
Its resolution is 1125x2436 at 3x resolution. So a full size image would at 3375px wide x 7308px height would fill the screen at its highest resolution. Nuts.
As for viewport width, it’s the same as the iPhone 6, 6s, 7, and 8: https://www.paintcodeapp.com/news/iphone-x-screen-demystified

Thanks for the incredibly quick reply, Daniel!
According to the page you linked, it's not that high. It's a base size of 375x812, which is close to the original iPhone size of 320x480. So, 3x of 375x812 is 1125x2436.
For purposes of responsive design the iphone X viewport is 375 x 635
you can easily check here http://myscreenchecker.com . not only ipx but for all phones
