Use query to scroll to element position?

(mobileme4) #1

I have a Hype document that is much longer than a webpage. Down the left is a series of buttons, each of which starts a timeline that opens a box with image and text, to the right.

I would like to be able to have the page scroll so that the box to the right is fully visible. I am assuming that jquery can do this, but not sure how to implement.

Thank you for any help.

I forgot to inquire whether I can use a jQuery plugin, like this:

Hi,

I am not at my Mac at the moment so I cannot offer more insight.
You probably can use the plugin but from what I see from the Scrolling demo page, you may just be able to use native Hype animations.

There is also a Tutorial starting-an-animation-by-scrolling-to-it-with-jquery-waypoints

And
