Is there a way, to disable the automatic help lines?
If what you’d like to avoid is the ‘snapping’ that happens when you move an object, you can hold ⌘ while moving an element to avoid that behavior. Or at the top menu, select Arrange > Snap elements and Points to disable snapping. There isn’t a way at the moment to disable the automatic guides.
Thank You! Disable “Arrange > Snap elements” works. Although in a complex layout with many elements the constant flashing of the auto guides is something annoying. It would be very nice, if “Snap elements” is disabled, they wont be displayed.

Thanks for the feedback! v4’s vector shapes can also add a lot of automatic guides, so I can see how it would be nice to not flash them.
