Tips for Improving Animation Smoothness in Hype Projects?

Hi everyone,

I am working on a Hype project and aiming to create a visually stunning animation with smooth transitions. However.., I have noticed some lag when previewing the project, especially with more complex animations.

I am curious to know if anyone has tips or best practices to optimize animation performance in Hype. Here’s what I have tried so far :-

Reduced Element Count: Limited the number of objects animating simultaneously.
Optimized Images: Compressed image assets to minimize file sizes.
Simplified Keyframes: Avoided overly complex animation sequences.

Despite these efforts;, the animations still feel a bit choppy on older devices. I wonder if there are specific settings in Hype that could help: ??

Would love to hear how others approach this!! Are there particular techniques, tools or strategies you swear by for buttery-smooth Hype animations: ?? I have also read this thread https://forums.tumult.com/t/best-practices-for-optimizing-tumult-hype-animations-on-iphone-cissp-certification but still need some help.

Looking forward to your suggestions.

Thanks in advance !!

With Regards,
Daniel Jose

If you went through the other page, then it is likely any tips might be animation specific. Would it be possible for you to post a zip of your .hype document (or at least a live URL) along with what devices and browser/OS versions you are testing on?
