Timeline in persistent symbol not pausing

Hello,

I have set up four buttons in a persistent symbol. Each time a button is selected, the following should happen:

• A 'button' timeline within the persistent symbol plays to hide the button selected (this is happening)
• A new scene loads, plays a video, then once the video is complete, it returns to the scene with the four buttons. (This is happening)
• The 'Questions Finished' timeline within the persistent symbol continues. This timeline has three 'Pause timeline' actions on it. What is meant to happen is each time a button is selected, the timeline moves to the next pause. On the fourth button press, the page is meant to show new text and a new button. The timeline is playing, but not pausing at the designated 'Pause Timeline' actions... it just jumps straight to the end and shows the new text and additional button.

Pretty hard to read what each button is doing, but it seems like each button is doing a lot more than just continuing the timeline based on the action list, could this be the issue?

As @Daniel say a little difficult to see your full setup and what is going on.
