Hi there, I am using custom code to input variable data to text boxes.
Sometimes the data will import text that will run across two lines, and sometimes that text will only be one line.
By default the text is aligned to the top of the text box - my questions is, is there a way to have the text align to the centre of the text box?

You should be able to adjust the line hight in the typography Inspector.

many ways to center vertical ... a few of them:
place custom html inside the Hype-Element.
any css that is generic can be placed in the head
