Similar to how you can replace an image with another image, it would be good to be able to replace a symbol with another symbol from the resource library that will then retain any animation and actions you may have added to that symbol outside of its own timeline.
perhaps when you select a symbol a dropdown appears in the 'elements' tab that lets you swap it for another?
