Hey!
The export scripts have old names that is not used today. Is it possible for you to update the names so it’s not so confusing? I need to clicktag for GAM now for instance but have no idea what script I should use. Thanks! ![]()
Anyone?
I think you need the Google Ads (Adwords) export script.
Thanks but that’s not the correct script. From what I can see so far it’s Google Campaign Manager 360 (DoubleClick Campaign Manager) is the correct one.
It’s very confusing with all those old names. Would be so nice if they could all be renamed for what they are called 2026.
From what I gather,
- DoubleClickStudio --> Google Studio
- Double Click DCM -> Google Campaign Manager 360
- Adwords --> Google Ads
Does that look right?
And we can do away with Sizmek + AppNexus.
We probably can rename them at this point.
That said you can also rename them yourself in the mean time:
- Choose the Hype > Settings… menu and click the Exporting pane
- Click Show Export Scripts folder in the Finder
- Open the com.tumult.Hype4 folder that was selected
- In each folder, just rename the file, but make sure to keep the ".hype-export.py" at the end
ex:DoubleClick Studio.hype-export.pybecomesGoogle Studio.hype-export.py
Out of curiosity, what order does Hype use for installed export scripts? They don’t seem to be alphabetical or chronological.
They are sorted by a depth-first traversal of the export scripts folder... so if the export script itself is named the same as a containing folder it should be ~alphabetically sorted. But would appear to not be if the name is different or probably not be case insensitively sorted (a is not A and after Z). Added this to the fix list :).
Haha. I kind of like it.
