Question on menu functions

They come from installed Export Scripts. These allow the output of Hype to be automatically modified, generally to match requirements of advertising platforms like DoubleClick and Sizmek. The items in the action menu are functions common in using these platforms, so you can typically refer to the javascript documentation for those (but I’m also happy to answer specific questions).

If you had installed the export scripts but find you do not need them, you can remove them via:

  1. Open Hype’s Preferences
  2. Go to the Exporting tab
  3. Click the “Show Export Scripts Folder in Finder” button
  4. Remove the items in the shown ~/Library/Application Scripts/com.tumult.Hype2/ folder
