Is it possible to change the behaviour of the preview in browser functionality?

At present, when selecting a different browser it previews straight away.
When wanting to switch previews, more apparent if wanting to preview the layout I don’t really want it to open a preview straight away as I need to preview the layout.

Could it only preview when clicking on the icon, not on switch? Or something be done for the layout preview? Not a game changer but allow one to keep one’s hair longer.

To clarify, holding down option while clicking on the preview toolbar icon or hitting command-option-return will preview the current scene and current layout.

However it appears this doesn’t work when choosing via preview menu dropdown. I’m a little surprised it doesn’t do this! It’s on the list to fix :slight_smile:.
