I am building In-App creatives with video, and I am wondering if there is a way for my video to be played in the mobile operating systems native player?
won’t a simple url pointing to the videofile itself trigger the native player?
I forgot to mention that the video files would be hosted in DFP via Doubleclick Studio. When I place these videos in my creative, the Hype video component is taking over, as most people would want to of course. Any way to go around that?
My understanding is the video will play using the native player so long as you do not have inline set. But that may be just iOS.
Do they provide special HTML code when hosting videos this way? If not, then the device showing the video should use its native video player interface.
