Hi there I used to use ibook author to insert the exported widget from Hype, but now i find that there is no ibooks any more and it has been replaced by "pages" so any advice on how to insert the exported widget from Hype in "pages"

They have not added that functionality, unfortunately. I recommend using either Pubcoder or Indesign for this. InDesign is probably the most powerful option, especially paired with In5.
