Some years ago I made a variation of the magnificent pickup from bpe@bigpoppae.com only by tryal and error. It worked wonderfully even though I had and have hardly any knowledge of programming: snoep
After more than a week of experimentation, I have now made a new variation and it also works very well. Unfortunately, the sound that accompanies starting a disc does not work with the new variation (Java script rolling metal) After two days of experimentation, I have the ability to use the app without that desired sound, but I fervently hope someone can recognize the bug: jazzkoe

I can report that I have created an alternative to the non-working java script. Using my iPhone, I recorded the desired sound and included it as an mp3 in the document. Actually much simpler than java (at least for me).
