Don't worry, everything is fine. It's more my Hype rookie insecurity than your question. 
For what it's worth, I'll tell you that I worked in traditional animation (pencil, paper and light table, like the one for the Hype logo) for seven years. Then I switched to Flash for another three years, when it was still Macromedia software, creating interactive stories for children, for a big Spanish publishing house. Then I focused on illustration, comics and design.
So my logic in animation is still very analogical. Sometimes it helps and in other cases I work more than I should because I don't know the automatisms. Thanks to Hype I am taking again the path of animation.
I think this time the analogical logic of isolating the animations, as if they were independent scenes within the same tape or timeline, helped me.
