When Im working on a long animation, the slider that allows selection of the start key frame is often not visible. This means I have to go to the start of the time line and drag that 'indicator' to the right position in the timeline.
Is there anyway to have that appear, regardless of the length of the animation
There's unfortunately currently no way to get it without scrolling back, but this is on our list to fix.

You can use Ctrl+Command+K to set it at the current time position without scrolling
Good point - I feel embarrassed I did not think of this to suggest as a workaround
