Lock an "Expanded to fill" image to a max size

Hi, I’m using an image to “expand to fill” the entire window of a scaled to 100% website, It looks fine on a 13 to 15 inch screen. The problem is that when I see it on a bigger screen size, the image keeps expanding.
Is there a way to lock an image to stop it from stretching more than a specific number of pixels?
