Hype Videos As A Course On YouTube

YouTube rolled out the “Courses” feature to more channels. Photics.TV is one of those channels…

So, I set the Tumult Hype Tutorials playlist to a Courses playlist…

https://www.youtube.com/@PhoticsTV/courses

It's suppose to track your progress, but I didn't see that working…

I'm not sure if it's too early yet, something's broken, or if it doesn't count progress because I created the course. :man_shrugging:t2:

Where do you see the "explore this course" and course progress? If I show "view full course" it just shows an old style playlist screen, and clicking on the course just plays the first video.

The progress was shown in the description of the video.

…but it wasn't updating.

…and it does seem like a regular playlist. :man_shrugging:t2:

…and clicking the word “Course” on the main playlist page does nothing.

…but at least there's a dedicated comments section for the course.

I don't see any other settings to change, so maybe YouTube is still updating the site or maybe it takes a while to properly process? :man_shrugging:t2:

…and just a side note, it looks like YouTube is going back and adding AI multilingual tracks to older videos. Not all of the languages made it, but this one has Italian… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlp8q-of5BI

Maybe @michelangelo knows if it's any good. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hearing “CSS” in Italian sounded so cute.

I apologize for the delay! I hadn't seen the notification.

Generally, the translations aren't bad, but occasionally I get technical terms wrong, or I mispronounce words that remain in English while translating  .

This doesn't affect the overall understanding, so it's fine! :+1:

No problem! :slightly_smiling_face:

I just thought the YouTube courses things was interesting and the multiple languages were kinda fun! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Mainly, I'm just trying to keep things a little more lively around here while we wait for Hype 5.
