I’m experiencing a critical issue with Hype 4 (latest version from the Mac App Store) on a Mac running macOS Sequoia 15.5.
Whenever I try to use the Text Tool, the app freezes and becomes unresponsive, requiring a force quit. I’ve already tried:
- Reinstalling the app
- Deleting preferences and support files
- Restarting the system
- Testing with a clean user account
Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue.
Interestingly, the same version of Hype works perfectly on another Mac running an older version of macOS, which leads me to believe this may be a compatibility issue with Sequoia.
Is this a known problem? Are there any workarounds or upcoming updates that address this?
