HTML5 Dynamic for Google Ads? Anyone with some luck

Hello everyone, it's been too long since we last met. A lot has changed for me over the past two years, but the issue remains the same. The last time I remember, I suggested the idea of turning Hype into a specific solution that serves a specific purpose for Google Ads users like me.

Why is that?

Google's Google Web Designer offers a really poor and messy experience. Additionally, with the updates to MacOS M chip machines, it has made the software and system even more incompatible.

So, after two years, I’m still proposing that there should be an extension specifically for handling Google Ads GDN HTML5 and dynamic HTML5 issues. I hope my suggestion reaches you. Also, having a customization feature for various sizes would be fantastic.

If your new version includes this, I would be more than happy to repurchase (which I had to refund previously, despite how amazing this app is).

 @Duong! Thanks for your feedback. While our mission wouldn't ever be to make an ad-only tool, we'd love to be a better tool for making Google Ads. The reality is that Google provides 'negative' support to applications like ours and also does not help any users that might use alternative tooling. It is a poor situation. We're happy to work through issues users are experiencing when using Hype to make Google Ads, but often there's only so much that can be done.

If you haven't already, I'd recommend leaving feedback for Google that they should be more open towards supporting other HTML5 tools like Hype. Thank you!

I've build many dynamic creatives with Hype for Google. You just have to use a rich media host such as Google Studio, and traffic the assets to the desired platforms. Google studio provides methods for dynamic setups for Google webdesigner and plain html/js with some code snippets to implement in your HTML files. But since pretty much any code snippet can be implemented in Hype, its quite straight forward to implement it.

Thank you for your response, I really appreciate that someone has finally succeeded with Google’s dynamic HTML5 ads without having to use the terrible Google Web Designer software.

I would be very grateful if you could share your course on creating these ad templates in Hype or any tips when creating ads. I always encounter issues with Pmax HTML5 campaigns because they use dynamic formats instead of static ones like GDN.

It’s hard to imagine how your tool could solve not only my problem but also that of many others. However, I would greatly appreciate it if you had a dedicated space for Google Ads or specific tutorials on HTML5 or dynamic HTML5 ads.

I don’t understand why Google has negative actions towards your software. Is there something they require that your software doesn’t meet, or is there another reason?

You'd have to ask them , but I'd guess it is a support burden they don't want to deal with. Realistically they have no competition, so there's not much incentive to do things that are nice for users but cost them money...
