How to have a condition page show only once

#1

Hello. Done an app all in hype. There is a condition for use page that I will like not to show anymore after you have accepted the condition. Any idea on how to do that?

Hi,
there are probably a few ideas people may have… but some more information on what platform, how the hype is embedded into the app etc… etc…

you can see the app here

you are going to be on the actual condition page

I am thinking that you would be better off setting that page to show and the condition in the actual app and using the App’s API to deal with only showing it once.

The advantage is that the App can have a preference for this stored in its user defaults.

If you don’t go the app route, using cookies or localstorage is generally the way to do this. It would require JavaScript. My recommendation would be to have javascript run on scene load and see if a variable was set that it was accepted. If so, automatically jump to the next scene using the Hype showSceneNamed() API. Otherwise show the agreement.
