For a horizontal timeline I need the viewport actions for horizontal scrolling. I would like to start an audio which is connected to an image which comes into view.

you mean, that should be possible, but it doesn’t work, because it’s a bug?
it’s an option in waypoints
it’s not enabled within hype … so you may start a request or use waypoints yourself

Thanks for request – for now I recommend using the Waypoints plugins for this additional functionality.
