Form with Virtual Keyboard and Indexeddb

(Rob) #1

Hi!
I needed to collect data from an offline touch application at tradeshows.
Here’s how I did it using a modified Virtual Keyboard and YDN DB.
I have read a bunch of posts about Indexeddb…hope this helps
The only thing missing is an export button. If anyone wants to add that it would be great.

I plan on creating a full dashboard to collect user data and session tracking analytics all to run offline but sync when internet connection is available.

Cheers

Np.
Let me know if you get stuck and I’ll see if I can help.
Also would be interested in how you use it and what improvements could be made. Like I said in the original post an export button is next.

You could do this easily with buttons or a dropdown menu.
