Folders in Resources Library

What do you want to see in Hype?

Folders in Resources Library to better organize things like images, fonts, audio files, etc.

Have you found a workaround for this problem?

No, and the chaos that my Hype projects snowball into grows ever more maddening.

Are there examples of other apps with this feature? Or, have you seen examples of this elsewhere on the web? (Please include a URL)

How high of a priority is this for you?

[ ] Can't use Hype without it

I find above to be melodramatic. While there is truth to what you mentioned as far as "better organization of images, fonts..." That's said, lately I tell myself to look past all the negatives or short comings of the app and focus on the positive and think about what the end goal is, as far as export, function...

Thanks for the feedback @lovetobuildstuff. Definitely understood and the Resource Library is one of the areas that is for overhaul.

@petester I'm glad you have a positive attitude , and I likewise believe this is a key to productivity. While I definitely don't want the forum to devolve to only complaints, the feedback/feature requests category is probably a little different since posts are more for the developers. It is useful for us to also get the emotional feedback on issues too! The goal is to make software people love, which is usually avoiding issues that people hate. (I think it would be crossing the line if it went from internal frustration to external attacks, which this did not do.)

You can filter them…

Not that I'd want to stand in the way of progress, but I don't really worry about this part of Hype. I like that I can just drop all the resources into one giant collection. It's alphabetized, that's been pretty good.

Sometimes a little encouragement/enlightenment can help those who feel like the app is becoming chaotic with each and every project that they're a part of.

Im a work in progress in how I communicate, my hope is not for people to take it the wrong way but help them grow out of zeroing in on details and expressing concerns that are based on personal points with the exceptions of

  1. App Bugs
  2. Buggy "Hype Extensions" or "Workarounds" that are tedious to maintain/modify which may defeat the purpose of ease of use which can alter the course of an actual future hype feature.
  3. UI Enhancements
