I’m glad to see there’s pretty wide browser support for this; under initial v4 development all SVG 2 features were considered off-limits.
Sadly it looks like the SVG Strokes spec has been punted from SVG 2, so there isn’t spec way to do inner, outer, or center strokes. But this paint order can actually be a reasonable workaround in some cases.
I don’t think it would be hard to add; I’ve filed it. Thanks!
