Hello!
When I create a new layout, usually the new layout takes content from other layouts but, I would like to control from which layout is importing the new content, can I control it?

The way it works at the moment, is the content is taken from the largest layout (typically the layout created prior to creating any layouts) but that's a great feature request!
You can always copy + paste content and animations from a smaller layout if you want to use content from there. To make sure you get animations and elements, select everything, ⌘ + c, then switch to your smaller layout and select Edit > Paste with animations.
