Is there a way to do replicate this functionality in Hype 4 for vector curves?

There’s not presently a curve tool, but this is a good feature request!

Beyond using the normal control points, the easiest way to get a curve like this may be to start with a Rounded Rectangle element, and then when you are happy with the curvature, use Edit > Convert to Vector Shape. You’ll probably need to open the path and then delete the points (and/or rotate as the path starts in the top/left corner!)
