Banner ad file optimization: What are full.min.js and thin.min.js for?

Thank you for explaining Mr Deutsch.

The IAB Ad guidelines recommend a maximum of 200kb [PDF] for most ad sizes, and a typical maximum animation length has been set to 15 seconds.

To TumultHypeTeam

Edge.js is served by Adobe on high availability servers which cancel the weight to the adds servers.
and 50k extra is just … it has been better said earlier.

exemple from THEM! :
https://animate.adobe.com/runtime/6.0.0/edge.6.0.0.min.js

Can’t you https addserve your lib separately : basic / physics / etc … on the same exemple ?

This only an encouragement to the TumultHypeTeam to keep considering this as a important issue for many of us

ps: eXcuse me french in poor writing .

Thanks for the request. Given the cost this isn’t something we could host ourselves with our current pricing model (notice Edge is no more ) , but we do understand the need for a common CDN URL for Hype’s runtime.

Thx for your answer,
Many ask for https:// for obvious reasons,
I’m two days from buying your products  mainly to produce display adds.
Have a nice day

html banners have been bumped to 200kb, so I don’t have the .min.js (eg. 50kb) problem anymore. If you still have some with 50kb you have to inform them they are living before 2015.11 since IAB Updated the recommended ad size. I mostly have 100kb as max. kb.
