Auto-trim spaces from Unique Element ID

  1. What do you want to see in Hype?
    Accidentally added a space to a Unique Element ID in the Hype Identity pane. Then of course later ID without the trailing space was not found in my Javascript code (jQuery).

  2. Have you found a workaround for this problem?
    Yeah, if you have a jquery bug trying to find your element, check for trailing spaces

  3. Are there examples of other apps with this feature? Or, have you seen examples of this elsewhere on the web? (Please include a URL)

  4. How high of a priority is this for you?
    Low, but its a simple enough change to the Hype IDE and it prevents a nasty "invisible" bug in user entries. Would have saved me many hours of debugging time
