Hi,
I’m making a children’s book in iBooks Author and using Hype to create the pages for the book. Each page is it’s own widget with audio and simple animation. Is there a way to pause a widget when switching pages? As of now, if I go to the next page before the audio is finished on the page I was on, the audio continues playing along with the audio on the current page.
I found this article in the Hype forum, Advanced iBooks Author HTML Widgets: Widget Events, Storing/Sending Data, and more. It seems like it may be what I’m looking for, but I don’t know anything about Java. However, I tried it, but it didn’t work, or I couldn’t make it work. Maybe I did something wrong?
Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks.
