I have manage to get it working in Chrome with a normal html file ( not hype), I had to click the CC button a few times before it did work !.

It does work well in Safari when I select the 'English' option for CC. I do see this error in Chrome: Error in writeWEBVTT: TypeError: Cannot read property 'textTracks' of undefined. What do you mean by:
