Start Timeline at Scroll Position

Hi trusty folks at Tumult,

I was wondering if it is possible to trigger animations based on scroll position. For example, I want some text in a lower position on the page to fade in, but only once I have scrolled down to that section. To clarify, that timeline is not triggered by the action of scrolling itself, but rather the user’s position (height) on the page. I have created a sample file:

Sounds like you need to use Viewport Actions…

Thanks! Is there way so that this is triggered only the first time the element has been scrolled into the viewport, and not every time?

Have a viewport timeline animation play only once

Hi folks, I've got a great animation done for my new site - [image] I'm using viewport to initiate the timeline, as the animation appears a third of the way down the page. I'd like the animation to run only once, but with the current behaviour it restarts each time the animation enters the viewport. Is there a way to perform some sort of loop test in a piece of Javascript to detect if the animation has already run once, and then stop the animation running a second time. Any help much a…
