This would only defeat the buttons that are covered by the transparent object. Set the object to cover only the text elements of the project and make them conform to the same settings as the text boxes.
Most people aren’t aware that their browser can display the code on the page (which is easy to copy) so the transparent object aproach will keep most people from copying your text.
