stable approach:

What max means ,
Although using this should not be an issue be aware that runtime class names may change in future builds. What would be good is if we got an official symbol class name to target

Do you see any issue using

var slides = [...element.querySelectorAll('.HYPE_scene ')];

element being the Hype scene calling the callback, which then queries for HYPE_scene hopefully only finding symbols.

No problems that I can think of with the current runtime. I can't guarantee this will work forever though
