The problem with that approach, is that the reality file (or the usdz file) is less robust than the rcproject file. It has some bugs, layers move around, pngs often appear with a dim white background around it, etc. The animation I created works much better as an rcproject.
That said, the rcproject is considerably larger than the reality or usdz files, about 3 times as much, and since I'm creating several AR files, that's also a consideration
