SVG coloring book

I am trying to create a simple coloring book inside a larger Hype project.

I would like to be able to address groups or paths within an SVG that I created in Illustrator. I just want to change the fill color of the group to whatever color is selected from the palette. This example is the closest that I have found to what I want to achieve.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well, you could just make an HTML Widget (iFrame) to add custom code.

Hype doesn't really have support for custom interactivity with SVG shapes. Maybe with some JavaScript, it could be done, but that wouldn't be so easy.
