I have some URL links in my project and I checked “open in new window.” When clicked in Safari, it’s the same window. When clicked on Chrome or Firefox, it opens in that window and a new window.
Is there any way to resolve this?
AFAIK this is not fully controlled by the Javascript instructions to the browser and will depend on the preferences of the settings for the browser the user has set.
Do you mean a different tab but the same window in Safari? You are also implying it opens twice in Chrome and Firefox - both in a different window and the same window? It isn’t quite clear what behavior you are seeing from the description; can you elaborate and/or possibly send a screen capture using QuickTime Player’s ‘File > New Screen Recording’ if @MarkHunte’s explanation isn’t an answer to this?
