Shortening duration of animations/symbols

Hi All,

If I create a symbol of an animation, is there a way to alter the duration of each instance of the symbol/animation?

I think I answered this via email, but symbol instances share timelines and animations, so you would need to duplicate and modify your duplicate to have different durations. (They would no longer be linked symbols).

Also another way..

You can create your animation on its own timeline.
Then duplicate the timeline via the duplicate timeline button in Symbol Inspector.

Then change the durations to what you want in each.

Now on the Scenes Main Timeline. Change the Symbol Action Key frame to start the relevant timeline for each Symbol instance.
