Infographic: British Air Forces attack dam of Möhne Reservoire 80 years ago

75 years ago British Airforces attacked the dam of the Möhne Reservoire with bouncing bombs. Aprox. 1300 people died that night. Among other things the infographic shows the skilfully developed method, how the pilots dropped the bombs and targeted them to their destination.

I like this! It conveys the information in a clear and clean way. It was not even necessary to know the language.

And now, onto the 80th anniversary... It has been five years. One of my first infographics. And still one of my favorites. I think this graphic is still a great example of how complex processes can be explained vividly through animation/Hype (and by the way - all without scripting. My JavaScript skills back then were - limited... ).
