Hype documents running on iPhone 13 Pro

Hello all,

The new iPhone 13 and 13 Pro Max have high variable refresh rates (up to 120hz). When I open my Hype document in Google Chrome on my high refresh rate monitor, it plays animations back at the refresh rate, which is excellent. However, on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, the animations are playing at 60 FPS still. Safari is supported for higher refresh rates, so Pro Motion must not be detecting the need to display the website at a higher refresh rate. Therefore, I wondered if it was possible to force Safari, through Hype, to recognize the higher refresh rate? I've researched this a lot online and have ended up nowhere :.

Thank you

Safari and Mobile Safari only supports scrolling at 120hz. It does not provide the ability to render content (run animations) faster than 60hz.

The good news it looks like they have a proposal to improve this:

Once Safari has this capability, Hype will definitely make use of it!

Great to know. Thanks!
