Exporting to gif animation

It is not possible to export to a gif animation anymore, Is there a bug or so?
The export takes a very long time and hype will get out of order.

It should still be possible! Are you able to post a zip of your .hype document and the resulting GIF file? (please make sure to not change the GIF export settings from this export). I assume you mean that some of the frames appear out of order?

There are two workarounds that might get you going:

1. Change the GIF export engine

  1. Quit Hype
  2. Open /Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app
  3. Enter this command:
    defaults write com.tumult.Hype2 AnimatedGIFEngine Apple
  4. Relaunch Hype and export again

2. Or use PNG Sequence Export and use your own PNG -> GIF tool
