Offline version of hype document (for Windows and Mac)?

What would the easiest method to make a purely-offline version of a Hype document be?

I can’t use offline application cache for several reasons:

  • It’s too big (17+MB, larger than what Safari would accept)
  • Has Web Fonts and other online stuff (I could embed these though)

Ideally, I would like to make it into a .exe and .app, would that be possible in any way? Loading it in a web browser would work as well, as long as it doesn’t require an internet connection.

You can get Google fonts for download from here: https://github.com/google/fonts, and here are a few ways to create a standalone app. Also check out Electron.
