Looping animations on symbols

Hi, I have a symbol in which I have a looping animation (in this example just pulsing its brightness). I’ve used a timeline action at the end of the timeline to reset it to the beginning.

In my master scene I include this symbol and fade this symbol in using opacity. However my symbol animation does not loop.

I want my symbol timeline to just keep playing independently of the main timeline, but not sure to achieve this.

It sounds like you are the on the right track. The only thing is that you need some action to kick off the looping timeline initially. You can add a Symbol Element Action on the Scene’s Main Timeline to kick it off or you can add an ‘On Symbol Load’ Start Timeline action inside of the symbol.
