Insertion Point in a new JS window

The ‘Insertion Point Cursor’ always lands below the editable area of the JS editor window when I add a new javascript function (see the picture below).

It’s not a big deal, but would it be possible to have the ‘Insertion Point Cursor’ default position inside of the editable area?

i always use command+A to paste some code - this pastes automatically before the last sign.

Ah, select - all, then paste (command+v), that works for pasting. I know it's a minor thing, but I usually type my javacripts and I am a lousy typist and I still have to look at the keyboard as I type, then I look up and nothing is entered :frowning:

hahaha - yes,the same thing happened to me again and again.

Yeah, I’ve been aware of this bug for a while and it also annoys me! It hasn’t been fixed because it is low priority, but maybe one of these days I’ll get to it :). Thanks for the report.
