Does anyone have idea to make a webpage or webapp like News Digest app by Yahoo?

I want to make a webpage like New Digest by Yahoo with Hype.

  1. i want to make it possible to swipe right and left on moving object.
  2. when you drag down the top image’s size stretches. how can you make that?

i am guessing they build a css for this. can anyone teach me how to make this kind of webpage using Hype.
