3.6 still not allowing items to be replaced if document is a copy!

I’ve noticed that the old 'The file XXXXX couldn’t be saved in the folder “HypeScratch.XXXXX” ’ error, when replacing assets, is still present in any Hype document that is a copy of a previous document. (i.e. duplicate the document in the finder and rename it version 2 etc) This is most annoying as the only way to replace assets is to ‘View package source’ of the hype document and replace it in the resources folder. Which sometimes causes crashes and even if it doesn’t the new item seems to take on the metrics of the previous item.

Sorry you’re hitting this! If you can send a bug report that will help us determine exactly what’s going on with the duplicate document issue.

Done.

I’ve noticed this also happens when an asset is changed outside of Hype and it tries to update. Clicking the button to allow it causes the error.

Its been there for a while: Error trying to replace files in library
